Jewelry
  • Fused Glass Workshop by Patricia Collins

  • $75 for half day class $65 FAC members
  • $150 for full day class $125 FAC members
  • Students will make jewelry pieces while learning glass cutting, fusing techniques and kiln firings.

    Materials and tools are included in the class fees.

    Patricia Collins, a Hot Springs fused glass artist, creates jewelry and artworks using dichoric and other art glass. She has taught fused glass for twelve years. Collins sells and displays her artwork at The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs, Taylor Bellott Nature Gallery, and the Quapaw Bathhouse.

    Half day classes will make two pieces of jewelry either pendants, earrings, or rings. The full day classes will make four to six pieces of jewelry and receive more detailed instructions. Download Registation form here

Writing
  • Hot Springs Village Writers' Club Fourth Annual Writing Workshop

    When: Saturday, March 17, 2012
    Where: Coronado Community Center in Hot Springs Village, 9am to 3pm

    We are thrilled to welcome Janis F. Kearney, award-winning author and publisher, as our facilitator. The theme of this year's workshop is: "Preparing, Pitching, Publishing & Promoting: How to Take Your Manuscript from A to Z"

    We encourage those who are interested to print the registration form, complete it, and return it with a check as soon as possible. Space is limited, and we expect to attract many participants.
