Short Story Competition

  • REQUIREMENTS
    Stories must be 250 words or less, written in English and be the original creation of the author. Stories may not be racist, demeaning or pornographic.

  • FEES and PRIZES
    Entry fee is $5 per story. Twenty stories will be selected to be published and illustrated in the anthology. Authors in the anthology will receive $20 and one free book at the book signing reception at time of publishing. The book is a fundraiser for The Fine Arts Center's art education programs and events.

  • SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
    Send by the deadline of April 7, 2012 -
    1. Word or text file for each story, double spaced.
    2. Title page for each story that includes author's name, and contact information.
    3. Completed and signed entry form.
    4. $5 per story
