2008 Fourth Annual Dates/Location: September 5—30, 2008 at The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs (FAC), 610-A Central Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Reception: Friday, September 5, 5—9 pm. Awards 6:00 pm. Awards: Cash awards for three places in three categories totaling $2500. Ralph Michaelis Memorial: All media on canvas; Stanley Rames, Legacy of Friends: Water media on paper, and Nina Louton, Art by Nina Other media. Second and Third places in all categories as well as other awards. Award Judge: Nancy Dunaway, award judge. Eligibility: All artists, all media of original artwork under 38 inches, work not previously shown in DNJE, works properly wired to hang or stand, all artwork must be for sale, 25% commission donated to FAC, Acceptance of purchase award prices. DNJE committee reserves the right to refuse submissions that do not meet our family oriented criteria. Fees: $35 for 1—3 digital photos (only the first three photos submitted will be viewed). Format: In JPEG format on CD numbered and labeled to match the entry form to the right. mailed to The Fine Arts Center, P.O. Box 6263 Hot Springs, AR, 71902. Including: (1) The completed entry form, (2) self-addressed stamped CD size envelope for return of CD, (3) Photo and bio for promotion.(A) In JPEG format on a CD mailed to FAC, Nina Louton, 114 Mountain View, Hot Springs, AR 71913, or emailed to aoriginals@hotmail.com. (B) Numbered and labeled with titles to match list on entry form, (C) the completed entry form, and (D) a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) for return of CD, refusal or acceptance, (E) (photo and bio encouraged for promotion). Deadline for entry: Must be postmarked by July 12, 2008. Notification of Acceptance: by August 1. Delivery of art: 610-A Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR or to P.O. Box 6263, Hot Springs, AR 71902, September 3, 10—4pm. All art must have identifying label attached. Pick up: September 30, 10am—4pm, at FAC. Please make arrangements for pick up. Artwork not picked up or arrangements made for late pick up will be gratefully accepted as a donation to the Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs. Tax deduction receipt available upon request.
