ANNUAL SHORT STORY
PUBLICATION ILLUSTRATORS

The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs is seeking artists to award a free illustration workshop and mentoring program under Hugh Dunnahoe, a professional illustrator. Black & white illustrations created in the workshop will be published in The Fine Arts Center’s 2010 Short Story Anthology. Interested artists are to submit 3 – 5 images of their work, a brief description of their history and medium of choice, and their contact information. The submission fee is $15 or $10 for members. The Fine Art Center will select ten – fifteen artists to participate in the program awarding them the workshop worth $300. This is a great opportunity for artists to learn about the illustration trade.

The book will be published in October of 2010. A reading and book signing event will be in Hot Springs. Location, date and time will be announced later. This book is a Fine Arts Center fundraiser. The proceeds help fund The Fine Art Center’s art education programs and events for the community. Each artist participating in the workshop will receive a free book will obtain copyright and licensing rights to their illustrations.
