Ceramic Plate Painting Workshop
Tuesdays in November, from 2-6 drop-in 1-2 hours for Ceramic Plate Painting. Choice of glaze technique determines fee. Ceramics w/Translucent glazes $25, bisque with glazes $35. No age limit, children under 6 must be acompanied by an adult. Proceeds to benefit Summer Art Camp, three half scholarships now available. Art teacher's recomendation, short letter telling why interested, and commitment to child's attendance.

Art Party
Adults and/or children watercolor, pastel, ceramics, acrylics, collage, cards or plates, $75 for 5, $10 each for 6 or more. 25% of proceeds benefit The Fine Arts Center.

Regularly Scheduled Classes
$15 per hour per student up to 5 students, 6- 10 students $10 per hour per student.
Scheduling new classes daily.


Scheduled Classes
Mondays: Art Classes, 9-12 noon, at Senior Citizen Center. Children's mixed media classes 2 - 4pm, limit 4.

Tuesdays: Pottery 1-6pm, $15 per hour per student, includes supplies and firing fee.

Wednesdays: Wonderful Wednesdays; 8-9am, ages 3-5, mixed media classes / 9-12 noon, ages 6-17, mixed media classes, Jan, Feb, March and Aug & Sept for four weeks.

The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs presents Mandy Haynes, the 2011 recipient for a scholarship to WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS, home-school art instruction during Wednesdays, January and February each year. The mixed media classes provide instruction by professional artists, using professional materials for ages 3-5 (limit 4) at 8-9 am and ages 6-17 (Limit 24)at 9-12 am. Mandy is twelve and a sixth-grader in the Malvern Home School Group. Her parents Donnie and Lisa Haynes and her grandparents; Bobby and Dorothy Abercrombie and Maxie and Judy Hayes, are very proud of her accomplishments. She also plays piano, reads, is very active in 4 H, and helps with a variety of animals on the farm.
