During the month of January, The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs, is hosting an exhibition of artworks from the members of the Three Rivers Art Guild, Inc. The watercolor, pastel, and oil paintings feature the Ouachita Mountains area. Jan Briggs oil and impasto, Nishikigoi, depicts the koi in Garven Gardens while Juanita Tackett’s oil painting series, Flowers, show the variety of its daffodils and jonquils. Don Watson’s large oil painting, Photo Finish, reminds one of the upcoming horserace season. Other artists that have works displayed in the exhibit are Allie Graves, Billie Harding, Ginger Lea, and Jimmye Smith. Many of the artists will be present at the January Gallery Walk. Featuring exhibitions for local art organizations is just on of the ways that The Fine Arts encourages advancement of the arts
